Tourist Trains, Logging Locos DVD

This video is a compilation of some old VHS tape footage from the late 1980s and early 1990s of restored logging locomotives in operation. Some are no longer in service as of 2022: 2-6-6-2 Kosmos #11, Sugar Pine Lumber Company 2-8-2T #4, and Mt Rainier Scenic RR 2-8-2 #5. Any return to service date for these locos is to be determined. Westside Shay # 15, at Fish Camp, California, is very much alive and kicking. This DVD is a direct transfer from VHS so don't expect high-definition images, but with any video of restored locos that are now non operational, any is better than none. There is also some bonus footage, silent 8mm film transfers, shot by Richard Ehmann, at Rayonier's Railroad Camp and in the woods of 2-6-6-2 #120 and a Klickitat Shay working the log dump. Run time, about 62 minutes.
